The same stream of life that runs through my veins night and day
runs through the world and dances in rhythmic measures.

It is the same life that shoots in joy through the dust of the earth

and breaks into tumultuous waves of leaves and flowers.

It is the same life that is rocked in the ocean-cradle of birth
and of death, in ebb and in flow.

I feel my limbs are made glorious by the touch of this world of life.
And my pride is from the life-throb of ages dancing in my blood this moment.

A brit Razorlight az elmúlt néhány évben feltűnt egyik legélvezetesebb és legsikeresebb brit gitárpop zenekar. Az excentrikus viselkedéséről és nagy dumájáról közismert Johnny Borrell gitáros-énekes vezette Razorlightot kezdetben, mint a paradigmaalkotó amerikai Strokes brit kistestvérét emlegették, ám ma már nem kérdés, hogy a zenekar a mai színtéren leginkább csak önmagához hasonlítható, hiszen a Razorlight az elmúlt években megalapozta saját sikerét és kialakította saját zenei nyelvét. Azt a zenei nyelvet, mely élvezetes és okos popdalokban testesül meg, s melyben egyszerre érezhetjük az elmúlt évtizedek angol és amerikai popzenéje, a Talking Heads, a Blondie, Bruce Springsteen, Patti Smith, Bob Geldof, a Police, a Clash, a Pulp vagy a Blur hatását.
