Meet Pete the Monkey. Pete was not trained to do this. The film was made in a monkey sanctuary in Bolivia where I was volunteering, and I was just lucky enough to have a camera on me when he started copying exactly what I had been doing (I wasn't so lucky later on when Pete took my camera and started eating it)! To support more monkeys like Pete we launched a festival in 2012, on the French coast of Normandy. The festival runs annually every July, with all proceeds going to support the monkey sanctuary where Pete lives.
